Get to Know Dr. Kumar

Dr. Kumar is a board certified Ophthalmologist with specialized training in Corneal and Refractive surgery. She was trained at Harvard Medical school in Corneal and Refractive Surgery. She uses the latest techniques in Corneal transplantation including DMEK and DSAEK and provides both medical and surgical treatments for Corneal disease. She is very skilled at cataract surgery and offers patients the latest technology in intraocular lenses with options of Multifocal and Toric lenses designed to reduce the need for glasses after surgery.

She enjoys providing Comprehensive and preventive eye care for her patients and enjoys seeing families where she can be the provider for children to great grandparents. She enjoys her private practice and also the privilege of teaching medical students at the University of Cincinnati who are interested in Ophthalmology and will occasionally shadow her in clinic.
